Privacy Policy
Effective Date: February 8, 2026
WristPass ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile companion application, Garmin watch app, and website at wristpass.li2niu.com (collectively, the "Service").
1. Information We Collect
We prioritize user privacy and minimize data collection.
- Local Data: Your barcodes/QR codes, folders, labels, and settings are stored locally on your phone and on your Garmin watch. We do not upload your barcode content to our servers. When you sync to your watch, data is transferred locally via Garmin Connect and Bluetooth.
- Camera Access: If you choose to scan a barcode, the camera is used to read it. The scan is processed on-device and the image is not uploaded to our servers.
- Activation Data (China builds): If the activation code system is enabled, the app generates a random device ID stored locally and sends it to our activation server to verify your license. We also store an activation token and status in encrypted storage on your device.
- Purchase Information: If you subscribe to WristPass Pro, payment processing is handled by third-party providers (Apple App Store, Google Play Store) via RevenueCat. We do not store your credit card information. We receive a receipt to validate your subscription status.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the core functionality of creating, managing, and syncing barcodes to your Garmin watch.
- To verify activation codes where applicable.
- To manage your Pro subscription status.
- To provide customer support when you contact us.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data with third-party service providers solely for the purpose of operating the Service:
- RevenueCat: For managing in-app subscriptions.
- Google/Apple: For payment processing and app distribution.
- Activation Server: For verifying activation codes (only when enabled).
4. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the data stored locally on your device.
- Delete your data by uninstalling the App or clearing app storage.
- Manage your subscriptions via your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
